Aakash Kandil Workshop (आकाश कंदील) - Kids 6 to 13

Build the light that welcomes Diwali home.

Every Diwali, the aakash kandil is the first thing to go up and the last thing to come down. This year, your child gets to make their own. Guided by professional lantern maker Aaradhya Nakashe, kids will learn the craft step by step, from folding and shaping to assembling, and leave with a finished lantern ready to hang at home. A parent joins in too, so it becomes a morning you make together.

What your child will do

• Learn lantern-making from a professional craft artist
• Build their own Aakash Kandil from start to finish
• Take it home and hang it at the door or balcony
